This blog is my personal repository, lab, sounding board and overall project development platform.

I also use this blog as a teaching platform for students that I tutor from time to time, mainly on the subject of Word Press and as a useful way for me to review and study new products along that line.

Life Before Word Press

Anyone who knows me or has ever corresponded with me knows I’m a huge fan of the Word Press content management system.

But believe it or not, I wasn’t always pro WP but an interesting turn of events turned me into a WP pro.

Okay, maybe that title is self proclaimed but the point is, you absolutely can create some really interesting and user friendly sites without using Word Press.

And while you would probably have more success convincing me to to jump from the Empire State building sans parachute, than creating a site the old fashion way, by hand, I did manage to churn out quite a few.

So, for the sake of posterity I’m presenting here one of those ‘hand built’ projects that while taking me considerably more time to build with out the time saving ease of Word Press, still gave me a great sense of pride.
